Round 2 Match Ups…

As far as I could tell, we were pretty light on the shit talk after the round 1 match ups were posted. Hopefully that just means it was all going on behind my back, like you guys were calling each other directly to talk shit.

Before I post round 2, is anyone else interested in playing in the practice round on Thursday? So far I have: me, Wally, Asian James, Robinson, Cahill, Trey, Ian, Austin, and Shane. I’m going to try to get some tee times around 3PM at either Cobblestone or Noblehawk. In order to save some strokes, we can play some kind of game, like a scramble or something, unless you guys want to put in a full round. If you want in, let me know by the end of the week.

Also, I’m happily accepting payments now, so shoot me that $454.00 either on Chase Quick Pay or PayPal at my gmail account. Thanks bros!

So here are you round 2 match ups for Friday afternoon at Cobblestone. Match play, mano y mano, handicap adjusted. 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 for a loss, you loser. Just like round 1, play until the whistle, we need a real score for every hole and every round for the Bixler and RDGC.  If anyone is confused, just let me know and I’ll explain it to you personally, you idiot. Again, these lines are pretty early, we’ll finalized handicaps the week of the tournament.  In case anyone was wondering the match ups for both round 1 and round 2 were selected using a super advanced mathematically algorithm and not hand drawn for most intriguing match ups. However, I do love how many story lines naturally developed.

Jeremy, after I smoke you 10 & 8, I’ll be taking your Bixler blazer and adding to my collection that will already include Marty’s from round 1. I’m collecting scalps like Lieutenant Aldo Raine in Inglorious Bastards.

Brendan, I appreciate all the work you do for this tournament. However, just as I correct all your other posts let me make some edits.

    – Change smoke 10 & 8 to lose 5 & 3 and
    – adjust the language about taking the bixlesr to: longingly stare at pictures of the blazer and thinking about changing the field to 1 so that you guarantee yourself to win it once.

You come at The Bix, you best not miss!

    White James,

You have no idea the match you’ve entered into. I’m going to be congratulating you on every good shot, providing positive feedback and help you read the greens. On missed shots (of which there will be very few, but bad things happen) I’ll be right there encouraging you and providing pointers to improve in the future. I foresee a enjoyable round with good positive attitudes and play from the entire group. We are going to laugh, have fun and really just enjoy the afternoon on the course. I can only hope that we see some truly beautiful shots from everyone and we all shot our own personal best rounds. The best outcome would be a win for everyone, but I don’t want to see anyone lose, so hopefully we all tie! Can’t wait to play this round and good luck!
